aimhigh learning and development is a performance improvement consultancy based in the North-East of England.
It is led by Chris Jones. Chris “earned his spurs” as a leader and manager as head of a highly successful public sector service spread across eleven sites in County Durham.
On the back of this success, Chris moved to a dedicated local authority management development centre, where he spent ten years organising and running a wide range of leadership programmes, including change management, team-building, strategic planning and development of individuals’ skills.
aimhigh learning and development was set up in 2002, specialising in personal and organisational development.
Much of Chris’s work is in the education sector. He is an expert on the emotional and social aspects of learning, and applies this knowledge not only to schools and children’s learning but also to adults’ development.
Chris is a facilitator for The Pacific Institute’s Investment in Excellence programme, which he uses widely as a process for personal and organisational improvement. As an Investors in People assessor and adviser, Chris works extensively with organisations on improving business performance through people’s learning and development. He has done extensive work on coaching skills, motivation and organisational self-review. He is a qualified Emotional Intelligence practitioner.
